1962 : Beginning of our history, SOMEFLU has been founded by Mr. Maurice LACOUR
1962 – 1968 : Manufacturing of stainless steel close-coupled pumps (HMI range)
1968 : Manufacturing of plastic close-coupled pumps made of PP (HMP range)
1974 – 1980 : Sales partnership 50-50 between SOMEFLU & REKU
1979 : RHEINHUTTE, the FRIATEC Division, buys REKU
1980 : Creation of a plastic molding company ABAC in SAVOIE (France)
1980 : Manufacturing of SOMEFLU plastic process pumps (NP series)
1980 : Open a sales office in LYON
1980 : GUINARD POMPES buys 7% of SOMEFLU shares
1982 : Start of a Computer Assisted Production Management
1982 : Open a sales office near LILLE
1985 : ABAC becomes APLAST
1986 : Open a sales office in BORDEAUX
1980 – 1990 : GUINARD POMPES sells SOMEFLU plastic pumps
1986 : KSB buys GUINARD POMPES
1970 – 1990 : 25% growth each years
1991 – 1996 : KSB sells SOMEFLU process plastic pumps all over the world
1994 : New President, Mr. Didier LACOUR
1996 : SOMEFLU buys its participation of 7% to GUINARD POMPES / KSB
1997 – 2000 : SOMEFLU open a sales subsidiary in Germany, SOMEFLU GmbH
1999 : New product, close-coupled ECO range
2000 : Closed the SOMEFLU GmbH and builds its plant near to PARIS
2007 : Moved the headquarter & Paris sales office to the plant area at BAGNOLET
2000 – 2010 : Manufacture up to 4000 pumps a year
2011 : 30 countries world presence (Distributors & Agents)
2012 : For its fiftieth anniversary, SOMEFLU achieved its best year
2015 : SOMEFLU becomes a wholly-owned subsidiary of GESTION ET PROSPECTIVE
2015 : Certification ISO 9001:2008
2019 : Third generation family business, Mr Alexandre LACOUR is the new CEO
2022 : For its sixties anniversary, SOMEFLU develops for CHABOT PUMPS axial pump for 12 000m3/h
